將通風(fēng)率提高兩倍后，員工的 決策表現(xiàn)提高了8%，這相當(dāng)于每位員工每年可以多創(chuàng)造6500美元(USD)的 產(chǎn)值。同時也明顯的 提升了員工的 工作效率(efficiency)。辦公室通風(fēng)除了為員工帶來新鮮空氣之外，也能減少辦公環(huán)境中揮發(fā)性有機化合物的 濃度，經(jīng)由呼吸道傳染的 病菌（fungus)，因此，員工請病假的 機率也降低（reduce)了。
藉由開啟氣窗進行自然通風(fēng)的 方式，相較于主動式的 通風(fēng)設(shè)備來說成本低，又能帶來有效的 換氣效果。
在韓國近畿道的 一家電源供應(yīng)機公司，為了解決辦公室長年來通風(fēng)不佳的 情況，將辦公室氣窗全面改裝為電動開窗(windowing )機。
